Water and Wastewater management has played an important role in the history of Neegan Burnside and our relationship with most of the First Nation communities in Canada. Neegan Burnside delivers services that cover virtually every aspect of water and wastewater management. Our experience includes the full spectrum of project development from feasibility, planning and impact studies, to conceptual and final design, permit applications, tendering construction management commissioning and operator training. We regularly assist clients in locating, developing and protecting new water resources. Our remote sensing capabilities provide a low cost solution to identifying water resources before test drilling begins. Many of our projects have involved comprehensive servicing plans, requiring specialized support, project development and funding strategies to ensure that the probability of the project advancement is maximized. We are very familiar with the federal and provincial legislation including Protocol for Safe Drinking Water in First Nation Communities, the Federal Effluent Quality Guidelines and the Federal Fisheries Act. We are also very familiar with INAC funding procedures (i.e., PPA, EPA) and are diligent in ensuring that all reports and documents are compatible with typical submission requirements at various stages of project development. If you need to upgrade your existing water treatment plant, design a new lagoon, hydraulically model your distribution system, expand your existing wastewater treatment plant, develop O&M and Emergency Response Plans, or anything else related to managing water or wastewater please contact us.
