Who We Are

Neegan Burnside Ltd. is a majority Indigenous-owned engineering and environmental services firm. We are committed to assisting Aboriginal (First Nation, Métis and Inuit) communities, agencies and industries to meet their development and economic goals while remaining sensitive to culture, values and beliefs.

Our success is evident in the over 1,500 completed projects for more than 300 Aboriginal communities and agencies throughout North America. We are proud to not only work with, but also employ Aboriginal people, providing them the training required to succeed in their communities and beyond.

Neegan Burnside has a corporate partnership with R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited (Burnside). This partnership operates under a Joint Venture concept with indigenous and non-indigenous ownership being reciprocal between the companies to ensure a seamless sharing of human resources and equipment.

Through this unique structure, Neegan Burnside has the ability to draw from over 300 staff members within Burnside with professional qualifications in areas such as engineering, hydrogeology, environmental assessment and land planning, project management and support.

The execution of a project in a manner that recognizes culture, values and beliefs is important to us.
