We are seeking a Senior Environmental Assessment Specialist, with a minimum of ten years of experience, the majority of which should be in the Canadian environmental consulting environment, to work in our Guelph office. A sound understanding of the Ontario and Canadian Environmental Assessment Acts and Planning Act is essential along with proven business and client development capabilities. International and/or First Nations experience would be an asset, however not essential.

The position will include a variety of duties including business development, such as creation of new environmental assessment/planning work and assisting in the development of strategic initiatives, client management, project and team management, report preparation, quality control, training and mentoring of junior staff.. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to function in a fast paced multi-disciplinary consulting environment. Qualified candidates should have a degree in resource management, environmental assessment, planning or another relevant area.
